July 5, 2007 - 5:39 pm gh The echoes are clearly not only in my imagination, but it is now almost certain that I have been seeing strains of Nabokov rather than of Banville.

The echoes are clearly not only in my imagination, but it is now almost certain that I have been seeing strains of Nabokov rather than of Banville.
No, in at least one instance Athena was the source.
Highly recommended, and now I must reread The Book of Evidence and Ghosts as well. What happy bother!
